Overview

The online Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (B.A.A.S.) in Cybersecurity emphasizes the study of security principles including infrastructure, forensics, evaluation of risks, and security influence on business operations. This degree prepares professionals for data and information security, hardware and software security, and systems and network security. Students may earn up to 12 semester hours through Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) and/or internship. CPL may be used to gain credit for required and/or elective courses in the major. For students who hold IT/cyber-related professional positions, internship hours can be completed by working on special projects for the student's employer.
