How do I enroll in the Password Management Tool?
In June of 2025, EIU migrated its authentication system to Microsoft’s Entra ID.
If you forgot your EIU Password
- Go to the
- Enter your EIU email address: Enter the EIU email address associated with your Microsoft account.
- Click on Forgot my password:
- Get a verification code: You will receive a code to your personal email account with instructions how to reset the password
- Create a new password: Create a new password.
- If you can't access your recovery email: If you can't access the email used for account recovery, call the Help Desk at 217-581-4357 during business hours.
To change your EIU password (Panthermail, D2L, Paws, etc.) or to change the personal recovery email on your Microsoft Account
Sign into and go to Security Info from the menu and choose “change”
