IBHE Cooperative Work Study Application

杏吧原创shares the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE)'s strong commitment to reaching underrepresented and underserved students in higher ed. We believe that the best way to transform lives is through helping students to not only attain their degrees, but also see themselves as key participants in strengthening the future economy of Illinois. Thanks to a grant from IBHE, EIU is able to award a limited number of IBHE Cooperative Work Study Grants to qualified students. Successful applicants will be paid for their internship hours completed at a qualifying partner organization or business.

Applicants must meet these minimum requirements:

路 undergraduate currently enrolled at EIU

路 resident of Illinois

路 required to complete an internship (for academic credit) at a qualifying partner agency

路 have an internship that is unpaid without this award

Priority will be given to the following majors: Public Health, Health Administration, Health Sciences, and Human Services.

Deadline for applications:
September 30, 2025 for fall
November 21, 2025 for spring
April 10, 2026 for summer
