杏吧原创student Enoch Narh-Korley, a graduate student in the M.A. Studio Art (Graphic Design) program from Accra, Ghana, has been named the winner of the 2025 Comic Fest logo contest.
Narh-Korley's dynamic design will serve as the official logo for EIU Comic Fest, a pop culture convention hosted by Booth Library on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, featuring comics, games, cosplay, trivia, escape rooms, an Artists’ Alley, costume contests, and more.
“Seeing my logo selected for the EIU Comic Fest is really amazing. It feels like winning a superpower lottery,” Narh-Korley said. “One moment, I am sketching ideas; the next, my art is the face of the whole fest. Totally epic!”
His design was chosen from among 58 entries submitted by EIU students. The winner was selected by a panel of judges from the Comic Fest planning committee and EIU’s Art Department.
“There were many impressive student entries, and Enoch’s bold, eye-catching design truly stood out,” said Brian Keith, Dean of Booth Library. “We’re proud to have Enoch’s work at the forefront, setting the tone for a day full of creativity, community, and pop culture celebration.”
