Volunteer for First Day Welcome!
As we prepare to kick off another academic year, we’re looking for faculty and staff volunteers to help make the first day of classes for Fall 2025 a warm and welcoming experience for our students by participating in EIU First Day Welcome on Monday, August 25.
First Day Welcome Ambassadors will be stationed throughout campus offering directions, answering questions and sharing smiles, plus handing out cookies, stickers, and EIU t-shirts to help our Panthers start the semester off right.
We hope you will join us in this campus-wide effort to promote EIU pride while create a welcoming environment on the first day of classes. Shifts are flexible and all materials will be provided including a complimentary t-shirt and visor. You just bring your enthusiasm and EIU pride!
