EIU Panther Football schedule; six home games in 2025

(Charleston, IL) — Eastern Illinois University’s 2025 football schedule features six key matchups at O'Brien Field as the Panthers look to make a strong run in the Big South-OVC Football Association.

Fans will enjoy marquee rivalries and traditional celebrations, including the Mid-America Classic, Homecoming, and Family Weekend games. All home contests will be broadcast live on the Panther Football Network and streamed via ESPN+.

2025 EIU HOME GAME FOOTBALL SCHEDULE

·       Thursday, August 28 | 6 p.m. – vs Dayton

·       Saturday, September 13 | 2 p.m. – vs Illinois State (Mid-America Classic)

·       Saturday, October 4 | 2 p.m. – vs Tennessee State

·       Saturday, October 11 | 2 p.m. – vs Gardner-Webb (Homecoming)

·       Saturday, November 1 | 2 p.m. – vs UT Martin (Family Weekend)

·       Saturday, November 8 | 12 p.m. – vs Tennessee Tech

Tailgating at O'Brien Field

Fans planning to tailgate before home games at O’Brien Field can look forward to a festive and family-friendly environment. More information about EIU Tailgating at O’Brien Field is available at eiupanthers.com/sports/football.

EIU also will compete at six away games across Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and South Carolina. Their final game of the regular season will see the Panthers visit historic Bryant Denny stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide of the Southeastern Conference.
