All Gender Restrooms on Campus

Some transgender individuals may feel discomfort, experience discrimination, or suffer harassment when forced to choose from gender binary (male- or female-specific) restrooms on campus. All gender restrooms allow for a safe and comfortable facility for individuals.

All gender restrooms are single use and therefore allow anyone to use them, regardless of their gender identity. In addition, gender neutral restrooms allow personal assistants to aid those who need help to use the restroom, even if they are not the same gender.

• Pemberton Hall** (2)- Both on 1st floor (1 on south side of building & 1 just off the Piano room on 1st floor and down a half flight of stairs) Also has an all gender shower in the basement.

*= Must be either a resident of the hall, guest of a resident of the hall, or in the hall for the dining center to use the restroom.
