Nature Rx is an initiative that promotes the practice of spending time in nature to benefit your mental, physical, and social wellness. This all-natural prescription encourages you to slow down and reconnect with nature. Panthers have access to several on or off campus resources that are heavily underutilized. Nature itself is a reliable resource that you can always utilize. It can promote mindfulness needed to understand your mental health and process stress. Learning how to use nature as a method of stress relief can improve your resilence, giving you the ability to bounce back after a crisis. Take a look at EIU Mental Health Early Action and Mental Health, at the HERC for more info! |
